An inaugural National Op Shop Week launches this week!
With more people turning to op shops for their clothes, the supply is now dwindling – they need more stock! The aim of Op Shop week is to encourage people to donate their old clothes. I’m sure most of us can agree that a large portion of our wardrobes hold unused, or rarely used, clothing – as I recently experienced purging unused items out of my wardrobe. These unused clothes are ideal for donating. Find out how to donate your clothes correctly here.
The best part is this campaign has provided us with an excellent database of op shops according to postcode! Check it out here.
Don’t forget, donating items of clothes to charity is like donating money to help all sorts of underprivledged people in need! So use this excuse to give your wardrobe a spring clean and help out your local charity!
